Facebook, Instagram, Zoom, LinkedIn, PayPal and Spotify all come in the form of an app and in many cases, downloading the application to your mobile phone or computer makes them more accessible and easier to use.

Some of the applications available may be sneaky, as they appear and, in some instances, state they are free in the beginning and then a few minutes in, will require payment….SO ANNOYINGLY TIME WASTEING! 

iPhone

  1. From your home screen, click on the APP STORE application

  1. By using the tool bar down the bottom, you can click APPS to browse and discover new ones or SEARCH to look for one you want
  2. Once you’ve found the App you would like to download click GET and follow the prompts to enter your Apple ID password

MacBook

  1. From your home screen, click on the APP STORE

  1. By using the tool bar along the left side of the screen, you can click DISCOVER to browse hundreds or different apps or SEARCH to look for one you want

  1. Once you’ve found the App you would like to download click GET and follow the prompts to enter your Apple ID password

Android

Depending on the type of Android device you have, instructions on how to download apps will vary. Below are general instructions you can follow.

  1. Click on the Apps Icon. It may look like one of these

  1. Click on Google Play Store (this is what most Android devices use)

  1. You can then browse or search for you App you would like and follow the prompts to download it.
