We’re seeking Mentors who would describe themselves as having solid IT ability, are happy to trouble shoot and provide clear, supportive and non-judgemental advice to women who live in rural and remote Victoria to fast track their IT learning. 

There are many reasons why women in rural Victoria may have differing levels of digital capability. Sometimes there was just no opportunity to be taught. Critical research tells us that IT skills can enhance a woman’s economic participation and importantly social connectivity. That’s why we need people like you.

You will be required to provide up to 30 hours of your time over a 6-month period from July to December 2022 to provide IT mentoring. Your contact is likely to be over the phone, via email and/or zoom.

Please note to ensure the safety of participants, we kindly request that all Mentors complete a police check via Crimcheck. Crimcheck is the final step of the mentor form and all costs are covered by the Victorian Women’s Trust! It should only take approximately 7 minutes and you will need 4 points of identification to prove you’re you!
